Welcome to conquest wars!
Stand tall with your alliance as Conquest pits 4 alliances together in an intense free for all. Fight for pride, glory and new territories!!
1. The War Chest:
Prior to entering into a Conquest War, players can donate essence and jade to their Alliance War chest!
The War chest is used for special tactics once a Conquest War has started.
Alliance members can donate 25%, 50% or 100% of their total resource capacity to the war chest and can donate more than once.
A full war chest holds 200,000,000 of each resource.
The war chest will close as soon as your Alliance declares Conquest war.
Resources donated to your alliance war chest prior to entering into a Conquest can be used in strategic tactics during the Conquest War. Place a "Blockade" on an opponent's territory to slow their pace (decrease the amount of war points they gain per battle for that territory) or place a "Rally Flag" on a friendly territory to give your alliance a quick burst (increase the amount of war points players gain per battle for that territory). Remember, your Warchest must have enough resources donated prior to the start of Conquest in order to utilize Blockades and and Rally Flags.
Rally flags and Blockades can be placed by Shogun and generals.
Think you can just speed your way through the Conquest map? Not this time!
Energy is allotted to each player and recharges over time. Each time a player battles towards a conquest territory, one energy is consumed.
Make it count! Plan accordingly as this energy can only be replenished over time.
Energy replenishes at 20 minute intervals.
When your Alliance wins a Conquest war, Onyx will be awarded.
Onyx is also awarded for second and third placings.
Q) What are Conquest wars?
A) A different type of Alliance war where 4 Alliances fight for control of Territories on a map using strategy and tactics to gain the advantage over their rivals. Territories are worth Conquest points and the Alliance who collects the most Conquest points during the war will be declared the winner.
Q) How long does a Conquest War last?
A) The time for the Conquest war is 3 hours or until all territories are taken, in which case the war will end sooner.
Q) How often can we declare Conquest war?
A) Once every 3 hours.
Q) Can I join an alliance mid war and contribute to their score?
A) No - You must be in the alliance before Conquest war is declared in order to contribute
Q) Will Conquest wars affect our war streaks?
A) Yes - There are separate war streaks for Classic and Conquest wars.
2. The War chest
Q) What is the Warchest and where can I find it?
A) The Warchest is a communal holding spot for Essence and Jade donated by your alliance members for use in Conquest wars. You can access it via the Warchest tab located in the Alliance side panel.
Q) How many times can we donate to the war chest?
A) As many times as you want until the chest is full.
Q) How many resources does a full chest hold and what will this buy our alliance?
A) A full chest contains 200,000,000 of each resource, this will buy your Alliance 5 Rally flags and 5 Blockades
Q) How much can I donate to the chest?
A) You can donate a percentage of your total resource capacity to the chest and you may donate more than once.
Q) As soon as the Battle Chest is open, can Alliances swap in players to fill it?
A) Yes, however, once war has been declared, normal war rules will apply. You can’t leave or join in the middle of a war and still get the reward or contribute to the scores.
Q) Do the chest donations carry over? Or do we lose what we didn’t use?
A) Donations carry over - whatever resources are not used will remain in the chest for next time!
Q) Let’s say you get to 199 mil resources donated and your lowest donation is 2 mil. Will you lose 1 mil?
A) No. You will not lose 1 million. Your lowest button will change to 1mill, and the other two will grey out.
Q) Why can’t I donate to my Alliance War chest?
A) You cannot donate to your Alliance War chest if the Conquest has already started or if the chest is full.
3. Energy and Onyx
Q) How much energy will I start with and what will it buy?
A) You are given five energies to start and one will be used each time you battle.
Q) Can I use Diamonds to gain Energy?
A) No, you must wait for the Energy to regenerate.
Q) How long does my energy take to replenish?
A) At the start of the war one energy will replenish every 15 minutes. The time remains constant throughout the war.
Q) If I am out of energy can I leave the Conquest map and fight a normal battle?
A) Yes, you may - you can farm resources and gain honor points. (Please note any war points scored while outside the map will not contribute to the Conquest war)
Q) Can I purchase Onyx?
A) Yes - Onyx is available for purchase via the Build > Treasure button.
Q) What happens if we end in a tie?
A) In the event of a tie the first Alliance to reach that score will be awarded the prize.
Q) What is Onyx used for?
A) Onyx will be used to purchase special items via the Onyx market. You can find the Onyx market under the Build button.
Q) How does Onyx payout work?
A) Onyx payout will be calculated depending on the combined castle level of all the members of the alliance.
4. Conquest war and Tactics
Q) What are Territories?
A) Territories are nodes on the Conquest map that your Alliance must gain control of by scoring a certain number of warpoints.
Q) Are all Territories the same?
A) No, some Territories are more important than others and so are worth more Conquest points. Territories are worth between one and five points. Conquest points are determined by the number of warpoints needed to secure the territory - larger Territories require more warpoints to secure and so are worth more Conquest points.
Q) How are the warpoints per node determined?
A) The Warpoints per node is scaled and depends on the average castle level of the LOWEST level alliance. All four Alliances in the conquest war will see the same number of warpoints for a particular node. Warpoints will vary from war to war depending on the levels of the matched Alliances.
Q) Who can place the Blockades and Rally flags and where are they located?
A) Shogun and Generals can place them, you can access them via the Tactics button on the Conquest screen.
Q) What is a Rally flag?
A) A Rally flag is placed on a Territory by a Shogun or General and boosts the available warpoints by 50% on every battle fought on that territory for the alliance that placed the flag only.
Q) What is a Blockade?
A) A Blockade is placed on a Territory by a Shogun or General and reduces the available warpoints by 50% on every battle fought for that Territory. (Blockades affect your own Alliance as well as rival alliances)
Q) Can we place more than one Rally flag and Blockade?
A) You can only have one active Rally flag and one active Blockade. Placing another flag or block will cancel out the previous ones.
Q) What is the plus or negative number I see next to the warpoints available?
A) A plus amount means your Alliance has placed a rally flag on that Territory, so if you see (102) (+51) you will earn 153 warpoints for a three star victory on that village. A negative amount means a rival has placed a blockade on that Territory, so if you see (105) (-50) you will earn 55 warpoints for a three star victory on that village.
Q) Can two different Tactics be placed on the same Territory?
Q) We put a Rally Flag, but we are seeing no change to War Points. Is our Rally Flag broken?
A) If you placed a Rally Flag and you are seeing no change to War Points in that Territory, it means that there is a Blockade put in place by your rivals. Your Rally Flag will cancel the Blockade.
Q) Can we attack a rival’s Territory?
A) You cannot attack an already owned Territory, but you can attack a contested Territory if it is not yet owned provided that it is adjacent to the Territories you already own.
Q) Why are some nodes unreachable?
A) You can attack only adjacent Territories.
