We've received several foul reports from our community this week regarding the account named Önder. Accompanying these reports was a video showing a replay of Önder's attack on MONSTER's base.
As you know, we normally do not share details regarding foul play methods and actions taken on specific accounts. This is to respect the privacy of the players in question, to safeguard our detection methods and also to avoid sharing potential foul play "how-to's" with the community. However, this case has received a lot of attention due to targeting the player currently ranked #1 and has caused a very negative uproar in the community, so we are opening an exception.
Lastly, we have also received a lot of messages accusing us of taking part in what we call "alliance politics" and taking sides with one alliance versus another. We can't stress enough how that is not the case. We look at individual accounts when they are flagged by our systems or reported by the community for foul play and will apply sanctions according to our policy, regardless of which alliance the account is currently in or which others it has been in in the past.
We understand this is a frustrating issue, however, we have seen a lot of negative and even harmful speech directed at both players in question (MONSTER and Önder). So before we get into the nitty-gritty of this case, we'd like to remind everyone that although it's valid for you to be upset, it's not ok to mistreat others. Remember that this, in the end, is just a game and that on the other side of the screen there's a real person dealing with your message and, in these types of cases, usually the messages of many others.
REPLAY IN HACKED GAME
We've looked at the replay, system logs and data and could not find evidence to support what is shown in the video above. You can see the actual replay and battle log below:
ACTUAL INGAME REPLAY
|Attacker||Damage%||Trophies Taken||Jade Stolen||Essence Stolen|
|January 22nd 2020, 14:22:31 GMT||Önder||95%||-3||5644420||
The account being attacked was recently banned for using similar foul play methods in-game which also supports our conclusion.
We do not condone this type of action as it is harmful towards the player accused and the community as a whole and appeal for it to not happen again. Going forward, we will also consider applying sanctions to accounts attempting to incriminate others to defame them within the community or getting their account banned. This is not in line with the spirit of the game, nor the type of thing we want happening within our community.
Our team will be reviewing our internal foul play guidelines and harsher sanctions may be applied going forward.
Lastly, we'd like to reinforce what was said earlier in this post regarding being mindful of the players in question and those that may have shared this video with you. Be nice!
Also, if you could just play the game as intended and stop trying to break it that would be great, thanks.
